Governance Structure
Terms of agreement:
The cooperation agreement states: “A joint Steering Committee comprising two senior scientists from each party shall be formed and entrusted with the task of steering research and educational programmes and following up on implementation progress. The Steering Committee will meet at least twice a year and draw up its decisions in writing”
In 2018, the project governance ended together with the end of project phase two of the Red Sea Biodiversity Project.
Once the project should enter into a next phase, a new steering committee, two project managers (one from each party) and a project coordinator shall be selected in order to re-establish the former governance structure.
